Ian McGrory is the Manager of Pacific Development for Pacific Clean Energy Partners. Based in Honiara, Solomon Islands, Ian works with PCEP’s customers to plan for and design energy efficiency, solar energy, and energy storage projects to reduce energy costs and improve reliability.  

Ian previously worked with EDP Renewables, developing utility-scale solar projects in Texas. His responsibilities included identifying suitable locations for solar installations and analyzing potential utility-scale solar projects.  As a Renewable Energy Analyst for Antin Infrastructure Partners, he developed financial models for renewable energy assets and identified clean energy companies to make $100 million investments in growth strategy plans. 

Ian also worked in San Juan, Puerto Rico for Carbonwave, a developer of ultra-regenerative, plant-based, advanced biomaterials from seaweed.  Ian’s responsibilities included supporting research efforts to create biostimulants from seaweed and identifying market opportunities for sustainable seaweed products. Ian graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Economics and Biology.
