in project development and clean energy programs. The senior members of the team include:
Rob Pratt
Chair & Chief Executive Officer
Experienced project developer whose companies, Energia Global and GreenerU, have developed more than $300 million in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. Rob’s funding background includes heading up the $250 million Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust. He founded the International Institute for Energy Conservation (IIEC) in 1984, and served as Chairman of the Board for more than 20 years.
Stephen Fleming
Vice President for Finance
Finance professional with a focus on the clean energy and energy efficiency sector. Twenty-five years of experience that includes project finance, private equity, credit restructuring, and public equity research. Stephen has managed the investment of over $700 million in more than two dozen transactions across Asia, Latin America, and the United States.
Laura Van Wie McGrory
Vice President for Energy Efficiency
Energy efficiency policy expert and program manager with more than two decades of project experience in the United States, Asia, Africa, SE Europe, and Latin America. Laura’s expertise includes building systems efficiency, codes and standards, municipal energy efficiency programs and financing, gender and climate change, and water supply and wastewater system efficiency.
David Dayton
Vice President for Distributed Energy
Energy efficiency pioneer in EE financing innovation, whose work led to the establishment and growth of the energy service company (ESCO) industry. David founded Select Energy Services, which developed financing efficiency approaches that greatly increased the size of commercial EE installations. He has worked with cities, communities, and non-profit organizations to design and implement EE programs in the US and internationally.
Roble Velasco-Rosenheim
Vice President for Strategy & Business Development
Experienced energy and infrastructure entrepreneur and consultant who has supported donors in Asia and the Pacific to process over $150 million in sustainable infrastructure loans in the public sector. In addition, he has helped more than 50 project developers and Fortune 500 companies in structuring clean energy transactions in the private sector.
JOHN CLUNE
DIRECTOR OF PERFORMANCE CONTRACTING
Experienced energy efficiency expert with more than four decades of experience assessing and applying energy conservation measures in public, residential, and commercial buildings. John has served as an owner’s agent for energy savings performance contracts with local governments, private and public housing organizations, and affordable housing organizations. His expertise includes savings calculations, project cash flow development, construction management, utility program management, utility consumption and cost analysis, and monitoring and verification of savings.
Ian MCGrory
Manager of Pacific Development
Solar energy and energy efficiency program manager, based in Honiara, Solomon Islands. Ian has worked with international renewable energy development and investment companies to support the development of utility-scale solar projects and the scale-up of clean energy programs. In the Solomon Islands he works with public and private sector energy customers to bring them solar and energy efficiency solutions.
JEFF HUMBER
Director of Strategic Partnerships
Experienced project developer and financing expert with more than three decades of experience carrying out clean energy projects in 60 countries. Over his career, Jeff has led efforts with private companies and public sector organizations to develop, finance, and close global clean energy projects while serving as project developer, manager and advisor. As Senior Energy Adviser to USAID, he created and managed a $55 million program of assistance to African governments that attracted more than $1 billion of new, private energy finance and projects to sub-Saharan Africa, and additional programs attracting private investment to South, Central, and Southeast Asia. Jeff has also played a key advisory role with World Bank Group organizations and numerous U.S. government clean energy programs.
Brian French
Director of Hydroelectric DevelopmenT
Hydroelectric engineer with more than four decades of experience developing, building, and operating hydroelectric, waste-to-energy and windpower projects. Brian’s hydroelectric projects have included 22 MW in the U.S., 50 MW in Costa Rica, and 15 MW in Guatemala.
Benjamin Oatasia
Senior Program Manager
Skilled project manager and financial administrator, with more than 25 years of experience administering energy infrastructure, sustainable transport infrastructure, flood recovery, and other technical assistance projects for diverse national and international funders. He has provided financial management for projects in the Solomon Islands, Fiji, and Australia.
Grace Wate Kikiribatu
Managing Engineer
Electrical engineer who has worked in the electricity industry for more than two decades. Grace has deep, hands-on electrical and mechanical experience developing and testing energy and metering systems, and has coordinated policy, standards, and regulatory activities in the Solomon Islands related to the country’s renewable energy and energy efficiency framework.
Ted Flanigan
Director of Rural Electrification
Experienced electrification and clean energy program designer and implementer, who specializes in responsible energy management and greening cities and campuses through solar energy and other technologies. Over the past four decades, Ted has led international market transformation projects in Asia and spearheaded energy efficiency efforts in numerous cities, including Los Angeles. As the head of EcoMotion, he provides storage solutions, microgrid development, and EV integration services to cities and other jurisdictions.
Andrew Rose
Director of Wind Development
Clean energy business owner and licensed professional engineer who has worked for decades installing grid-connected and off-grid wind turbines and other renewable energy systems. As the CEO of HI-Q Technology, Andrew designs, installs, and oversees monitoring and performance of wind and solar photovoltaic systems, including in remote locations. Andrew is also a certified energy manager, providing energy efficiency and retrofit audits for large commercial and industrial clients.
