What We Do

Pacific Clean Energy Partners specializes in the integration of renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions -- combining the development, financing, and implementation of solar, wind, hydroelectric, biomass, and cogeneration projects with strategic energy efficiency improvements in island buildings and infrastructure.  This project model reduces overall energy costs for Pacific Island residents and improves the economics of the projects being developed.

PCEP also integrates energy storage technologies into its projects to cost-effectively maximize the reliability of renewable energy while minimizing the use of imported, fossil fuels and the need for back-up diesel generation.

PCEP’s approach involves working closely with local partners on the islands where renewable energy and energy efficiency projects are being considered for development. This local collaboration ensures that the projects are financeable and designed to meet the needs of the island communities.

Pacific Clean Energy Partners is skilled in negotiating and preparing legal and contractual documentation for projects such as power purchase agreements (PPAs), engineering, procurement and construction contracts (EPCs), and other documents that are key to successful project development and financing.  Its principals are also experienced in implementing  renewable energy and energy efficiency projects through the construction and installation phases after financing is in place.
